HARWICH, ON – The Chatham Daily News reports that the council for the Southwestern Ontario municipality of Chatham-Kent has given zoning approval for a planned microbrewery in the area.

Proposed by Donald and Patricia English, the as-yet-unnamed brewery will be located on a farm at the intersection of Lagoon Road and Middle Line in Harwich, and is intended to be an “agri-tourism destination for residents of Chatham-Kent and visitors alike.” It will feature a brew house, taproom, retail shop, and space for tastings and events.
