Picaroons Traditional Ales Releases Flood Red Ale

FREDERICTON, NB – Picaroons Traditional Ales has announced the release of a new limited edition beer inspired by the floods that hit Fredericton earlier this month and forced the main Picaroons brewery to close for a few days until the waters receded.

Flood Red (5% abv) is described as follows:

Through the perseverance of our head brewer, [Flood Red] was created during the flood. Working on a floating platform he quickly lashed together using pallets and empty kegs, Myles was able to save one of the beers we were working on and create something new. Using bags of Azacca Hops that were carried over to the brewery across a downed tree bridge, he was able to make a super hopped up Red Ale.

Flood Red is available now at Picaroons Roundhouse, and will be on tap by the end of the week at all Picaroons locations and other select beer bars in New Brunswick.
