Hard Knox Brewery Opening This Weekend in Black Diamond, Alberta

BLACK DIAMOND, AB – A brewery that has been in the works since last year has announced that it will be opening this weekend in Black Diamond, a small town southwest of Calgary in southern Alberta.

Hard Knox Brewery has been founded by siblings Pamela and Cory Lyken, with brewmaster Issac Privett fittingly relocated from Knoxville, Tennessee to join the team.

The brewery and taproom is opening with three core brands available – Grunt Work Vienna Ale (5.2% abv), Hard Knox Light Blonde Ale (4.8% abv), and Dusty Trail IPA (6.2% abv) – as well as a rotating specialty tap.

Hard Knox is located at 445 1 Avenue NE in Black Diamond, and will be opening at 4:00 PM today (May 18th) for the first time. For more details, see the Hard Knox Facebook page.
