Stillwell Brewing Releasing Poptones Farmhouse Pale Ale This Weekend

HALIFAX, NS – Stillwell Brewing, the brewery off-shoot of Halifax craft beer bar Stillwell, has announced details of its latest release.

As reported by Maritime Beer Report, Poptones (5.3% abv) is a Farmhouse Pale Ale described as follows:

Poptones is something a little different from our wee brewery: an everyday-drinkin’ hoppy farmhouse pale ale made in stainless steel. After a clean primary ferment we pitched our house cultures for a long, slow secondary fermentation to really coax the funk from our bouquet of bretts. The flavour profile is less tart and more bitter than most of our offerings; we think you’ll enjoy.

Poptones will be available on Saturday June 9th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM at the Stillwell Brewing facility in the rear of Propeller Brewing on Gottingen Street. A limited number of bottles of several earlier releases will also be available to purchase while supplies last.
