ABBOTSFORD, BC – Field House Brewing has announced the release of the second limited edition beer to be aged in the brewery’s oak foeders.
Cuvée Blanc Farmhouse (8.5% abv) is described as follows:
Fermented with wine yeast and conditioned on 300 lbs of Pinot Noir Grape pomace and a wild brett culture, this melange has the tartness and flavour of white wine paired with the barnyardy bouquets of wild aged beer.
Cuvée Blanc Farmhouse is available now in a limited run of 500 ml bottles at Field House, with distribution to select liquor stores to follow soon.
A launch event featuring a tasting of the beer alongside Backyard Wines Blanc de Noir Brut – the wine that provided the pomace used in the beer – as well as finger food will take place at the brewery today from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
