South East Calgary Breweries Holding 2nd Annual Barley Belt Tap Tour

CALGARY, AB – Six breweries located in a section of south east Calgary that they’ve dubbed the Barley Belt have announced details of their second annual brewery crawl event.

Featuring member breweries Annex Ale ProjectBanded Peak Brewing, Born Colorado Brewing, Paddy’s BBQ & Brewery, O.T. Brewing, and Village Brewery, the collective’s mission is to showcase how the neighbourhoods of “Manchester and Highfield industrial have become a prime destination for beer lovers in the city of Calgary.”

The 2018 edition of the Barley Belt Tap Tour will take place on Sunday August 26th from 12:00 noon to 6:00 PM. The 18+ event will be “fun-filled day of exploration, community gathering, and good times as patrons walk, bike or bus between each brewery along the belt.”

A passport entitling the holder to a beer at each location can be purchased now at the participating breweries for $30, with $5 to be donated to the United Way. Additional beers will be available for $6 each, with $1 also going to the United Way. Live entertainment, games, food trucks and more will also be featured at each stop.
