TORONTO, ON – Northern Maverick Brewing has announced that it is marking its 1st anniversary with the release of its first ever barrel-aged beer.
Captains’ Keep (6% abv) is described as follows:
Captains’ Keep is a dark Belgian Sour that has been aged for six months, in Caribbean rum barrels, and then bottle conditioned. This barrel-aged sour has complex flavour notes of dark rum, dried fruit, chocolate and tart granny smith apples.
Captains’ Keep is available now in a limited run of wax-dipped bottles at the Northern Maverick retail shop.
