Cowbell Brewing Announces Expansion Plans

BLYTH, ON – Just over a year after opening its 26,000 square foot destination breweryCowbell Brewing has announced plans to expand into an adjacent property.

Cowbell has purchased the Emergency Services Training Centre (ESTC), an 18,000 square foot building on a 7 acre plot that currently houses the North Huron Fire Department, Huron County Emergency Services, and Tuckersmith Telecommunication Co-operative, all of which will be relocating to a new facility in Blyth next year.

The brewery will be moving office and administrative departments into the building in early 2019, and later in the year, renovations will start on the central section to build a new packaging hall as well as a classroom for Cowbell College beer education sessions.

“We are excited about this expansion opportunity, and we are pleased to be one part of the economic revitalization underway in the village of Blyth and across Huron County,” says Grant Sparling, Cowbell’s Chief Development Officer, in a statement.

Further details on the expansion will be announced at a future date.
