WESTPORT, ON – The village of Westport on the west end of Upper Rideau Lake in Eastern Ontario is about to welcome its first brewery.
Westport Brewing has been founded by partners Kevin Quinlan, Tamara Phillips, and Marcqus Laver, with head brewer Thomas Nelson.
Situated in downtown Westport with a back porch overlooking the lake, Westport Brewing features a taproom and retail store selling crowlers. Two of Nelson’s beers – a blond ale and a German-style lager – will be available at opening, with more to follow.
Westport Brewing is located at 41B Main Street in Westport, and will be open from 11:00 AM until late on Friday October 5th to Sunday October 7th. For more details, see the brewery’s Facebook page.
