WOLFVILLE, NS – Bad Apple Brewhouse has announced the opening of a new bar and retail store location in Wolfville.
Located approximately 35 km east of Bad Apple’s brewing facility in Somerset, The Core by Bad Apple offers flights and pints of Bad Apple beer and cider to enjoy on-site, and cans and “bottle rockets” (returnable plastic growlers) to go.
Co-owner Kari Sanders tells Kings County News that the Core is a “space that promotes acceptance and inclusion,” and this extends to the hiring of staff including Cameron Cook, a man with special needs who Bad Apple came to know through local social services charity L’Arche.
The Core is located at 3 Elm Avenue in Wolfville, and is open from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM daily except for Mondays. For more details, see its Facebook page.
