ABBOTSFORD, BC – Field House Brewing has announced the release of its “latest foray into the hybridization of beer and wine.”
Zinfandel Ale With Vanilla & Oak (7.7% abv, 15 IBU) is described as follows:
This lightly tart ale was paired with pressed Red Zinfandel grape juice and aged on organic Indonesian vanilla and toasted American oak recreating the fruit forward, dry, yet full bodied characteristics of a well-aged bottle of Red Zinfandel. Pouring a beautiful dark red, this beer has notes of dark cherry and raspberry that pair elegantly with the tannic complexity and hint of sweetness from the oak and vanilla.
Zinfandel Ale With Vanilla & Oak is available now at Field House in 650 ml bottles and on tap, with liquor store distribution following next week.
