HAMPTON, NB – A new home-based brewery in Hampton, a town in New Brunswick’s Kings Country, has announced the release of its first beers.
Matchstick Beer Factory has been founded by Luke MacGregor and Heather Avery, a husband-and-wife team, and is named after the Flewelling Match Factory that used to be located in the community.
Matchstick has launched with two beers – Matchstick Pale Ale (4.5% abv) and Fired Up Red Ale (8% abv) – that are available on tap at several bars and restaurants including Match Factory Restaurant in Hampton, Bootstrap BrewPub in Quispamsis, and Sussex Ale Works in Sussex.
