VICTORIA, BC – Vancouver Island Brewery has announced the release of a new seasonal beer inspired by a classic Canadian treat.
Nanaimo Bar Imperial Porter (8.2% abv, 32 IBU) is described as follows:
Once voted Canada’s Favourite Confection, there are few things more Island than the Nanaimo Bar. Decadent and sweet, featuring flavours of graham cracker, chocolate, coconut, and vanilla, this Nanaimo Bar Imperial Porter is our homage to that world famous treat from Edith Adam’s 1953 prize cookbook.
Nanaimo Bar Imperial Porter will be available at select private liquor stores in British Columbia while supplies last.
