RICHMOND, BC – Vancouver International Airport has announced that three British Columbia breweries will be among more than 30 new food, beverage, and retail operators that will be opening locations in its terminals between now and 2021.
Red Truck Beer Stop, Steamworks Bar & Restaurant, and Whistler Brewing Lodge will be full-service restaurants offering beer from their respective breweries alongside food menus featuring a “mix of traditional mountain cuisine and hearty, brewpub fare.”
Other new bars and restaurants coming to the airport will include Hawksworth Kitchen, The Dirty Apron, Heritage Asian Eatery, Pacific Farms Market, BUILT Custom Burgers, and more.
“When looking at our food and beverage portfolio, we put a lot of focus on local and authentic flavours that provide a distinct British Columbian character, while offering a variety of strong international brands,” said Scott Norris, Vice President, Commercial Development, Vancouver Airport Authority in a statement. “We listened to feedback and this new line up will ensure our passengers have a range of options for different tastes and price points.”
