Category 12 Brewing Releases Compressed Data Juicy Pale Ale & Brings Back Transmutation Belgian Specialty Ale

VICTORIA, BC – Category 12 Brewing has announced the release of a new variant on one of its core brands, and the return of a popular seasonal.

Compressed Data Juicy Pale Ale (4.5% abv) is a lower abv companion to the year-round Juicy Data Hazy IPA, and is described as follows:

Our latest entrant to our Data series focuses on the encapsulation of the bright citrus aromas of our Lemondrop hop addition and Kveik yeast. Unleashing the contents lets loose a cascade of fresh citrus in a format that doesn’t compromise on flavour, body, or drinkability.

Transmutation Belgian Specialty Ale (9.6% abv) has been an annual favourite since 2015, and has the following notes:

Those of you who have been with us since the beginning know the story… and even if you haven’t, sometimes it’s nice to know that the catalyst to change is only one glass and a heartfelt conversation away. This Belgian specialty ale (NOT a tripel!) was the gateway to discovering a world of non-hoppy beers. Powerful, smooth, and with the perfect amount of hop character, this signature beer of ours promises to challenge what you think your beer (and life) can be.

Both beers are available now – Compressed Data in 473 ml cans, Transmutation in 650 ml bottles – at Category 12 and select private beer retailers while supplies last.
