FERNIE, BC – Fernie Brewing has announced the release of the latest beer in its rotation of limited edition IPAs.
Nighthawk Farmhouse IPA (6.4% abv, 50 IBU) is described as follows:
Our Farmhouse IPA has the same yeast strain as our Saison, slightly higher in alcohol and lighter in content. Low in bitterness, but heavily dry hopped with Centennial, Sorachi Ace and Hallertau Blanc. Sorachi Ace has a distinct lemon flavour, and Hallertau Blanc has strong notes of citrus and passion fruit, similar to an Australian variety. The hops mixed with the Saison yeast strain create an interesting blend of flavours.
Nighthawk is available now in 473 ml cans and on tap in BC, Alberta, and Manitoba (cans only) while supplies last.
