VANCOUVER, BC – One of Vancouver’s pioneering craft beer bars and one of its most popular craft breweries have announced the opening a new joint venture in the city’s Gastown neighbourhood.
The Magnet is a casual bar and restaurant co-founded by The Alibi Room and Brassneck Brewery, and built with assistance from architects Simcic + Uhrich, branding company Post Projects, and construction firm Harmony Pacific.
The 90-seat counter service establishment offers a rotation of craft beers as well as local ciders, wines, and spirits, and a food menu by chef Paul Finlay focused on small and sharing plates.
The Magnet is located at 309 West Pender Street, and is open from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM on Monday to Friday, and 12:00 noon to 11:30 PM on weekends. For more details, see The Magnet website and Instagram page.
