2 Crows Brewing Releasing Humdinger Farmhouse Ale

HALIFAX, NS – 2 Crows Brewing has announced details of a new limited edition beer set for release this weekend.

Humdinger (4.9% abv, 15 IBU) is a dry hopped farmhouse ale that was fermented and conditioned in a foedre, and is described as follows:

Brewed with barley, wheat (malted, flaked, and raw) and oats, and hopped in boil with Nelson Sauvin. Fermented with a blend of brett and sacch cultures (including a white wine yeast), and conditioned in foedre for just over 4 months. Dry hopped with a blend of Centennial, Huell Melon, and Idaho 7 before being can conditioned with champagne yeast. Super bright, lively, delicately funky, with citrus, honeydew and orchard fruit vibes. This beer rules.

Humdinger will be released Saturday June 1st at 12:00 noon, and will be available at 2 Crows while supplies last.
