Short Finger Brewing Marking 4th Anniversary with Lando Day

KITCHENER, ON – Short Finger Brewing has announced that it will be marking its four years of business as a homebrew supply shop, and the first year anniversary of its on-site nanobrewery, with an event that puts the spotlight on one of its signature beers.

Lando Day is a “celebration of the ever-evolving sour Saison blend” that has been available from Short Finger in various iterations and permutations over the last year.

The festivities will be taking place tomorrow – Thursday June 20th – from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the brewery, where the following beers will be available:

  • Lando (Batch AB) – “Pure, blended Lando with no extras” – draught and bottles
  • Lando (Batch W) – “Dry hopped with Willamette and Wakatu” – draught and bottles
  • Lando (Batch PPP) – “Our Peach Pit Punchdown combines second use peaches, peach pits, gin barrels, and a whole lot of blending” – draught only
  • Cloud City Pale Ale – “Double dry hopped, raw Oat Pale Ale with Ekuanot and Centennial” – draught only

Cellar bottles of a number of previous Short Finger beers will also be available to purchase, along with the full current line-up.

The celebration will continue into the evening across town at Arabella Park beer bar, where the official after-party will include the AB and W batches of Lando on tap, along with Cloud City and an exclusive keg of Lando (Batch RS), which “blends the contents of two chardonnay barrels that we filled last July with some fresh Lando”.
