HALIFAX, NS – Propeller Brewing has announced details of an extremely limited beer that will be released this weekend.
Propeller Brett IPA is described as follows:
Aged for over 8 months in red wine barrels with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis (Brett Brux), a wild yeast that over time, brings about characteristics of funk, acidity, and spice. IPA bitterness and a flavourful hop presence. Notes of tangerine, papaya, and passionfruit blend with the complex barnyard funk. Bottle conditioned for bright carbonation and to allow for evolutionary potential in the bottle.
Less than 200 x 750 ml bottles of Brett IPA will be available, and will go on sale tomorrow (June 22nd) at both Propeller retail locations – Gottingen at 10:00 AM, Windmill at 12:00 noon. Limited edition posters and t-shirts will also be available to purchase while supplies last.
