Montgomery’s Inn in Etobicoke Announces Beer Events for July & August

TORONTO, ONMongomery’s Inn, a historic building and museum in Toronto’s Etobicoke district, has announced details of several beer-related events planned for this summer.

On Thursday July 18th at 7:00 PM, Ren Navarro of Beer. Diversity. and Robin LeBlanc of The Thirsty Wench will be speaking in the Inn’s 1840s barroom about “diversity in the Canadian craft beer industry and how we can work together to improve it, one beer at a time!” Tickets are available online, and include a beer tasting and historic bites.

On Thursday July 25th and Thursday August 29th, the barroom will host its monthly Thirsty Thursdays series from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. The social evenings feature a cash bar, meat and veggie hand pies for sale, and live music by The Rebel Hollers (July) and Nicole Craig (August).

On Saturday August 17th from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM, the Inn will present the first South Etobicoke Festival of Beer, with local breweries including Big Rock Brewery, Von Bugle Brewing, Black Oak Brewing, Indie Ale House, and Great Lakes Brewery. Admission is free, and sample tickets will be available for $3 each.
