ELMIRA, ON – A new brewery that is “interested in crafting beer that encourages people to slow down and savour the nuances of something special” is now open in Ontario’s Waterloo Region.
Rural Roots Brewing has been co-founded by longtime homebrewer Roger Lichti and his wife and business partner Sue From, with a team that includes operations manager Sausha Foebel and promoter Taylor Wideman.
Located in the community of Elmira, 15 km north of Waterloo, Rural Roots opened its taproom this past weekend, and is pouring a selection that includes Here We Go! Blonde Ale, Country Nights Porter, Yes Honey Cream Ale, Not Quite India Pale Ale, and Kommunity Kolsch.
Rural Roots Brewing is located at 21B Industrial Drive in Elmira. For more details, see the brewery’s website and Facebook page.
