DRUMHELLER, AB – The first brewery in the central Alberta town of Drumheller has announced that it is now open.
Valley Brewing has been founded by local businessmen Nick Sereda and Ryan Sisson, and features a brewhouse, taproom, and patio which opened to the public late last week.
The brewery’s three initial beers – Capstone Pilsner (4.6% abv, 30 IBU), Namesake Hazy IPA (6.8% abv, 30 IBU), and Discovery Raspberry Ale (4.8% abv, 20 IBU) – have been available in cans at select liquor stores and licensees since late June. Two additional brands – Prairie Icon Farmhouse Ale and Coal Rush Porter – are planned to be launched soon.
