Slow Hand Beer Company Opens Tasting Room in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, BC – Slow Hand Beer Company has announced the opening of its tasting room at a location that will be very familiar to Vancouver’s craft beer drinkers.

Launched in 2017 by industry veterans Kurtis Sheldan and Chris Charron, who initially had their Slow Hand Pilsner (5.2% abv) brewed under contract while planning for a bricks-and-mortar location, Slow Hand quietly opened its doors last week at 1830 Powell Street, an address that was the home of Powell Brewery from 2012 to 2014, and Doan’s Craft Brewing from 2015 to 2018.

Along with the Pilsner, beers available at opening included West Coast Kolsch (5% abv), Cerveza Motueka (4.5% abv), Table Beer (3.5% abv), and Kveik Kellerbier (5% abv).

The Slow Hand tasting room is currently open from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Thursday to Sunday, with beer available by the glass and samples, as well as in cans to go.
