CALGARY, AB – Village Brewery has announced details for this year’s edition of an annual beer series that takes the concept of “community involvement” to a whole new level.
Village Gardener 2019 will be brewed this Saturday September 7th, and the brewery is “inviting all gardeners, growers and green thumbs” to bring homegrown hops and carrots to be added to the beer.
The event will be running from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM – with any hops to added to the brew due by 1:00 PM – and will feature “pints, food trucks, tours, brewing, and conversations with like-minded growers, brewers and Calgarians.”
Released in partnership with ATB Financial which provides financial support for the participating community gardens, the 2019 version of Village Gardener will be released in 473 ml cans on October 2nd.
