BLYTH, ON – Cowbell Brewing has announced the release of a new sampler pack that features a seasonal beer alongside several core favourites, and also supports a unique charity initiative.
The Winter Collection Six-Pack contains 473 ml cans of year-round brands Shindig Lager, Gravel Run Session IPA, Doc Perdue’s Bobcat Red Ale, and Doc Perdue’s Boxing Bruin IPA, as well as two cans of Oatmeal Vanilla Black Lager, a limited run beer described as follows:
Black Lager, also known as Schwarzbier, is a classic German-style lager, brewed with rich, roasted and caramelized grains, then fermented cool and lagered cold for a period of time. The beer boasts beautiful espresso and chocolate aromas with warm vanilla notes while maintaining classic lager sensations. The resulting beer is exceptionally smooth, elegant and delicious.
Each pack also includes a $2 giftcard for Givesome, a smartphone app that allows individuals to donate to various charities, and see the positive impact of those donations via online videos. Cowbell’s brand page on the Givesome app accepts donations to the brewery’s Greener Pastures Community Fund, which supports projects at the four children’s hospitals in Ontario.
