Goose Island Announces Canadian Release Details for Bourbon County Stout 2019

TORONTO, ON – Goose Island Beer Co. has announced that its annual Black Friday event will once again be migrating north of the border, with the 2019 vintage of Bourbon County Stout set to be available at select retail locations in Canada.

Released on Friday November 29th, this year’s edition of the always anticipated barrel-aged beer is described as follows:

This year’s Bourbon County Stout, aged in a mix of Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace, and Wild Turkey barrels, yields a rich, complex mouthfeel. Flavors of cocoa, fudge, vanilla, caramel, almond, plus leather and tobacco, permeate this beer and deepen with each sip. We’ve bottled Bourbon County Stout for 15 years and this year’s vintage is one that you will want to hold on to for years to come.

While the Canadian distribution of BCS in past years has been limited to Toronto, this year’s vintage will be available in five cities in three provinces, as well as online sales in Ontario. The locations, quantities, and release times are as follows:

Ottawa – 953 Bank St. LCBO (96 bottles), 9:00 AM
Toronto – Spadina & Front LCBO (204 bottles), 9:00 AM
Ontario – LCBO Online (792 bottles), 9:00 AM
Calgary – Wine & Beyond Sage Hill (156 bottles), 10:00 AM
Edmonton – Wine & Beyond Southgate (144 bottles), 10:00 AM
Vancouver – Legacy Liquor Store (204 bottles), 9:00 AM

[NOTE: The previously planned Montreal release at Deppaneur Peluso has been cancelled.]
