Blindman Brewing Brings Back 24-2 Stock Ale

LACOMBE, AB – Blindman Brewing has announced the second annual release of a limited edition beer that was brewed using a great local product.

24-2 Stock Ale (6.6% abv) is described as follows:

This beer truly celebrates Alberta barley at its finest and the way things were. The barley was planted and harvested with all horse-drawn equipment by our friends at 24-2 Draft Horses near Joffre, about 24 kms from the Brewery. It was then taken to local maltster Red Shed in Penhold (45 kms from the field) to make us some custom malts. We used that to make this traditional English Ale; an amber delight with smooth, rich, complex malt flavour.

24-2 Stock Ale is available now at the brewery and beer retailers throughout Alberta in four-packs of 473 ml cans, with the cans packaged in a series of 12 different labels, each featuring the name of the one of the 24-2 horses.
