NORTH BAY, ON – After almost four-and-a-half years in operation at its current location, New Ontario Brewing has announced plans to relocate to a new and much larger facility later this year.
Co-owner Mike Harrison tells the North Bay Nugget that New Ontario will be moving into the former Northern Honda dealership at 1401 Seymour Street in North Bay, a 13,000 square foot building that is approximately 10 times the size of the brewery’s current home on Cassells Street.
According to the report, the move is needed to allow New Ontario to “expand and grow its operation, including into more grocery stores, Beer Stores and LCBOs, as well as bars and restaurants outside of the city.”
While no firm timelines have been announced for the project, Harrison hopes that the new location will be ready to open by early summer.
