Blind Enthusiasm Brewing Releasing Buffalo Meadows Barrel-Aged Dark Lager

EDMONTON, AB – Blind Enthusiasm has announced details of the first beer to be released from the barrel-aging program at its Ritchie Market location.

Buffalo Meadows is described as follows:

Buffalo Meadows is a dark lager that was cool-fermented in stainless steel with Alberta blossom honey and bee pollen from Meadow-Sweet Apiaries. It was then aged for 9 months in fresh Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. The techniques and ingredients give this beer dark fruit notes, and complex salinity, with a warming finish.

Buffalo Meadows will debut on Sunday February 2nd at Blind Enthusiasm. 375 ml bottles will be available to purchase in the bottle shop, as well as 100 ml pours to sample on site. It will also be available in various pour sizes at the adjacent Biera restaurant.
