Broue du Païen Launches in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, New Brunswick

SAINTE-MARIE-DE-KENT, NB – A new nanobrewery based in the small Acadian village of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent in New Brunswick’s Kent County has released its first beer.

Broue du Païen was founded by veteran homebrewer Maxime Sonier, and is currently a one-man operation, with Sonier telling Maritime Beer Report that he handles “everything from the brewing, the canning and the delivering of the product.”

The brewery’s first beer is Bouctouche Pale Ale (5.4% abv), an American-style pale ale that was launched in mid-January as is available in 473 ml cans at select ANBL stores.
