ABBOTSFORD, BC – Field House Brewing has announced the launch of a new series of limited edition barrel aged beers.
BRRL ROOM by Field House is described as follows:
This next step in our aged beer program combines our love for wild aged farmhouse ales with our Field House Farms project. BRRL ROOM showcases a new world of specialty beers featuring our own farm-grown and harvested Fraser Valley grain, wild cultivated yeasts, and other diverse hand-grown ingredients. The result is a unique marriage of complex flavours featuring the best that the Valley has to offer.
The first trio of BRRL ROOM beers include Sour Noir (7.1% abv), which is “a dark sour ale with notes of dried fruit and dark malts [that was] aged in white oak for 11 months on a traditional blend of wild Belgian yeast and bacteria,” plus variant editions Sour Noir With Pinot Noir (7.1%) and Sour Noir With Cacao (7.1% abv).
Sour Noir and its variants will be available at Field House and select private liquor stores while supplies last.
