Nonsuch Brewing Releases Bourbon Barrel Belgian Strong

WINNIPEG, MB – Nonsuch Brewing has announced the release of the latest beer from its barrel-aging program.

Bourbon Barrel Belgian Strong (8.6% abv) is a batch of the brewery’s award winning Belgian Strong that has spent several months in barrels from Heaven Hill Distillery. It’s described as follows:

Pop the cork and you’ll be met with a robust bouquet of vanilla, wood, alcohol, and bourbon aromas. Find your favourite stemmed, tapered glass and seat yourself somewhere comfortable – we personally enjoy pairing this beer with the spring sunset. Pour this medium-bodied ale with confidence then pause as the aromas gather at the rim. Adorned with a tan head, this light-red beer is ready when the glass has a healthy sweat (somewhere around 8-10ºC is ideal). As it warms, our barrel-aged Belgian Strong will reveal its true character in a deluge of flavours starring caramel, booze-soaked raisins, and toast. The time spent in an oak bourbon barrel is unmistakable during the drying finish which is underscored with notes of whiskey and wood.

Bourbon Barrel Belgian Strong is limited to 150 bottles available exclusively via the Nonsuch online store while supplies last.
