Great Lakes Brewery Brings Back Electric Circus Tropical Pale Ale for No Wait Medical Foundation

TORONTO, ON – Great Lakes Brewery has announced that a fan favourite limited edition beer is set to return, this time with an additional charitable element.

Electric Circus Tropical Pale Ale (5% abv) is a hazy pale ale brewed with mango and pineapple, and is named after the popular dance music show that ran on MuchMusic from 1988 to 2003.

For its return, GLB has partnered with Ken Pompey – aka EC’s famous “Dancing Cowboy” who is featured on the beer’s label – to raise funds for No Wait Medical Foundation. This initiative was launched by Ken and his son – and former Toronto Blue Jay – Dalton Pompey to purchase masks, gowns, gloves and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for Ontario’s medical professionals in their fight against COVID-19.

The new release of Electric Circus Tropical Pale Ale will go on sale tomorrow (June 4th) at 5:30 PM via the Great Lakes Brewery online store, and 75 cents from each can sold will be donated to the No Wait Medical Foundation.
