Propeller Brewing Releases Spooky Saison

HALIFAX, NS – Propeller Brewing has announced the release of a new limited edition beer that was more than a year in the making.

Spooky Saison (6.8% abv) is described as follows:

A mixed fermentation of Saison and Brettanamyces yeasts, kettle soured with a primary fermentation on apricots, then aged for over 12 months in white wine barrels. The result is a complex, fruit forward farmhouse ale with a zippy sourness. Spicey notes and stone fruit aromas from spooky saison yeast, with Brett blend adding a complex earthy richness and medium funk. Oak and orchard fruit from the white wine barrels add layers of complexity to this crisp and dry saison.

Spooky Saison is available now in 750 ml bottles at all three Prop Shop locations while supplies last.
