HALIFAX, NS – Garrison Brewing has announced the release of new beer as part of a collaborative project spearheaded by Hops Connect, Rahr Malting, and BSG Canada.
The “Isolation Nation” initiative was launched to help Canada’s craft brewing industry recover from the COVID-19 crisis, with the three companies donating hops and malt to select breweries across the country.
Garrison’s creation is Sasquatch SMASH (5% abv), a single malt and single hop pale ale brewed with Sasquatch Hops. It’s described as “light and crisp [with] notes of pine & orange and is equal parts flavourful and crushable.”
Sasquatch SMASH is available now at both Garrison locations and private liquor stores in Nova Scotia while supplies last.
