SCOTLAND, ON – A new brewing company that is aiming to “produce prime craft beer and create an experience connecting location and community” has announced that it will be opening this weekend in Scotland, a small community near Brantford in southwestern Ontario.
Flux Brewing has been founded by Jeremy Hansen and Braden Cronmiller, and is located in a 5,000-square-foot former horse barn on Hansen’s property. The team also includes brewer Kelsey Desnoyers, and designer and brand manager Tara Barlow.
The brewery will be launching with a core line-up of six brands on tap and in cans including Day Job Pilsner, Gateway Session Ale, Etcetera NEIPA, Eye To Eye Irish Red, The Drawing Board APA, and Rocket Science Chocolate Milk Stout. Four additional taps have been set aside for rotating seasonal and one-off beers.
Flux will be open for patio service and retail sales this weekend (August 29th and 30th), with COVID-19 protocols in place. Reservations are required for the patio, and can be booked online now.
Flux Brewing is located at 185 Oakland Road in Scotland. For more details, see the brewery website and Facebook page.
