The Exchange Brewery Announces Virtual Edition of Sourpalooza Beer Festival for 2020

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ON – The Exchange Brewery has announced that Sourpalooza, its annual celebration of sour and funky beers, will be taking on a virtual format this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Sourpalooza 2020 will take place on Saturday November 7th as an Instagram Live event, with access included in the purchase of a Sourpalooza Beer Package which includes 12 beers from the participating breweries – Blood Brothers, Small Pony Barrel Works, Merit, Short Finger, Indie Alehouse, and The Exchange – plus a pair of Sourpalooza tasting glasses, a tasting guide, and snacks.

“In keeping with the ethos of the festival, our brewers have created two rare barrel blends for this event,” says Sam Maxbauer, Head Brewer at The Exchange Brewery, in a statement. “The other participating breweries are encouraged to showcase some of their most rare or one-of-a kind brews as well to show off some of the hidden gems of their cellars.”

The Sourpalooza Beer Package can be ordered now for $179 (+HST) via The Exchange online shop, with options for pick-up at the brewery, free delivery in the Niagara region, and $25 delivery to the rest of Ontario.
