Serpent Brewing Now Open in Spryfield, Nova Scotia

SPRYFIELD, NS – A new brewery focused on Belgian-inspired ales has opened in Spryfield, a small suburban community in Halifax.

Serpent Brewing has been founded by brewer Glen O’Keefe, and has launched with three core brands available: White Mountain Witbier (5.5% abv), Patey’s Bier Single (4.6% abv), and Eden Belgian IPA (6% abv). They will soon be joined by several other beers including Medusa Dubbel (7.4% abv), 33 Tripel (8% abv), and SpryTown Saison (5.5% abv), plus The Bite Apple Cider (5% abv).

Situated beneath the Canadian Tire in the Spryfield Shopping Centre, the brewery is currently open for bottle sales only, with ordering for pick-up and delivery available via the brewery website. A 60-seat taproom and retail store is set to follow soon, with space for live music and other events.

Serpent Brewing is located at 16 Dentith Road in the rear of the mall, and is currently open for order pick-ups and drop-in bottle sales from 12:00 to 2:00 and 4:00 to 6:00 on Monday to Friday. For more details, see the brewery’s website and Facebook page.
