Goose Island Bourbon County Stout 2020 Coming to Canada

TORONTO, ON – Goose Island Beer Co. has announced that its annual Black Friday promotion will once again be migrating north of the border, with the 2020 vintage of Bourbon County Stout (BCS) set to be released in Canada – albeit in a COVID-compliant manner.

While past years have seen customers lining up at select retail stores on the last Friday in November to buy the eagerly anticipated barrel-aged Imperial Stout, the ongoing pandemic means that the Canadian allotment of this year’s edition will be available exclusively online.

BCS 2020 has the following notes:

The 2020 release of Bourbon County Stout has been aged for a year in a mix of bourbon barrels from distilleries like Wild Turkey, Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace. The flavour profiles are wonderfully nuanced and unique, with tasting notes of cocoa, fudge, vanilla, caramel, and almond. The mouthfeel is rich and complex.

Consumers in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, and Vancouver can register their interest in BCS 2020 now on the Goose Island Canada website, and will receive ordering details when online sales are launched on Friday, November 27th, 2020.
