TORONTO, ON – Godspeed Brewery has announced that one of its beers is now available at LCBO stores for the first time.
Yuzu Citrus Saison (4.1% abv) is one of the brewery’s flagship brands, and is described as follows:
Beginning as a saison and finishing as something more enigmatic, Yuzu combines Japanese citrus and Belgian yeast, with restrained hopping to create a light, lively beer accentuated by mild tartness and minerality. Yuzu is a tremendously aromatic fruit: you’ll smell the beer being poured from across the room. The combination of fruit and peppery saison characteristics creates a nose of freshly-peeled clementines, all pith and bright orange with a spritzy and refreshing finish.
Godspeed also notes that “100% of the beer flowing to LCBOs will continue to be brewed in-house. No contract brewing guaranteed.”
Yuzu Citrus Saison is available now in 355 ml cans at select LCBO locations, as well as at the Godspeed Brewery retail store and online shop.
