TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the release of its second annual “100% spontaneously inoculated wild beer”.
Intermodal 2020 is described as follows:
Intermodal 2020 is a wild barrel aged beer that begins as a classic turbid wort recipe, travels to the outdoor koelschip for an overnight slumber, joins forces with the noble microorganisms capable of fermenting and souring it, and then meditates for a few years in oak barrels (this edition combines 1-2 year old batches). After an additional six months conditioning in the bottle, Intermodal 2020 has reached the end of its journey at Bellwoods – but will begin new ones with lucky folks across Ontario (and beyond?!).
Intermodal will be released today (November 19th) at 2:00 PM at both Bellwoods retail stores and the brewery’s online shop.
