Red Tape Brewery Now Open in Toronto

TORONTO, ON – A new family-run and indigenous-owned brewery has opened its doors in Toronto’s east end.

Red Tape Brewery has been founded by Sarabeth and Sean Holden, and will focus much of its business on “bespoke brewing” – i.e. creating small-batch custom-packaged beers for weddings and other special events.

On the more traditional side, Red Tape features a taproom that remains closed for now due to COVID-19 restrictions, and also offers on-site and home delivery sales of canned product.

The brewery’s first release, That Was Easy Pale Ale (5.3% abv), was “designed as a refreshing drink after a hard days work.” The initial run sold out in less than a day earlier this week, but another batch is set to be released next week, along with an IPA and a Porter with names TBA.

Red Tape Brewery is located at 159 Main Street in Toronto. For more details, see the Red Tape Brewery website and Instagram page.
