Sawdust City Brewing Maple Butter Tart Ale Returns

GRAVENHURST, ON – Sawdust City Brewing and has announced that an award-winning beer inspired by Midland’s Ontario Butter Tart Festival has returned for another year.

Maple Butter Tart Ale (5% abv) was the winner of the Collaboration Nation North competition at the 2015 edition of the Session Muskoka beer festival, and has since become a popular annual release for the brewery.

It’s described as follows:

Maple Butter Tart Ale leads with aromas of maple, butter tart and a subtle vanilla caramel pie crust vibe. Toffee, molasses and chocolate flavours balance well with the creamy, medium-bodied, crisp, hoppy bitterness. It finishes off with notes of fruit, amber rum and butter for a long, smooth sipper perfect for cool nights in. Everything you know and love about a butter tart – in a can.

Maple Butter Tart Ale is available now in 473 ml cans at the Sawdust City retail store and online shop.
