Broadhead Brewing Taproom 174 Series Continues with Wee Heavy and Double NEIPA

OTTAWA, ON – Broadhead Brewing has announced the latest releases in its Taproom 174 series of limited edition beers.

Wee Heavy (7.4% abv) was released last Friday and has the following notes:

Pours a deep caramel colour with a medium tan head. Aromas and flavours of caramel, toffee, honey, dried fruits and a subtle smokiness lead to a medium to full bodied liquid with a restrained bitterness, and a lingering alcohol finish. This malty and complex winter slayer benefits from warming up slightly after pouring.

Double NEIPA (8.3% abv) is launching today, and is described as follows:

Pouring an opaque, bold yellow with a strong off white head, this beer is packed with goodness. 6 different hop varieties (Columbus, Amarillo, Cascade, Simcoe, Galaxy, Vic Secret) were sacrificed to make our juiciest brew ever. Loads of passionfruit, grapefruit and mango on the nose with hints of pine and hop resin. Thick and juicy, yet soft and balanced offering a subtle hop bitterness on the palate, this lockdown special is assertive and is best enjoyed fresh.

Both beers are available now at the Broadhead taproom/retail store and online shop.
