WINNIPEG, MB – Stone Angel Brewing has announced the launch of a new series of limited edition barrel aged beers.
Barrel Aged Series: Highlander Wee Heavy 2020 (9% abv) is a batch of Highlander that has been aged for a year in a Port barrels, and is described as follows:
A rich, malty Scottish beer with notes of toffee, burnt caramel and honey, and undertones of Port. Warming but not boozy, this full flavoured beer is very approachable despite its higher ABV. This is the perfect beer for storage, and for a vertical tasting next year.
Barrel Aged Highlander is available now at the Stone Angel retail store and online shop.
