Nonsuch Brewing Releases Bourbon Barrel Old Ale X, Field Berry Sour & Irish Red Ale

WINNIPEG, MB – Nonsuch Brewing has announced the release of three new limited edition and seasonal beers.

Bourbon Barrel Old Ale X (10% abv):

For those final chilly nights of winter, we have this delightfully warming English-style ale. Nestled in oak bourbon barrels since 2019, our Old Ale X has been aging gracefully into a dark, rich collage of sweet and dark dried fruit, vanilla, caramel, cocoa, and of course, Bourbon flavours – a must-try for fans of the original. ⁣

Field Berry Sour (5.6% abv):

For those craving an early taste of spring, our newest sour reminds us of a carbonated sour fruit punch with strawberry and raspberry in the forefront, as well as cranberry and blackberry as supporting players.

Irish Red Ale (5% abv):

We’re getting ahead of St. Patrick’s Day with this delightfully smooth red ale. Our Irish Red pours a reddish-orange/brown, topped off with a wispy, thin white head. Expect caramel, nut, and bread aromas on the nose and a light, creamy mouthfeel. The flavour opens with sweet malty notes reminiscent of cola, and a light earthiness from the hops. The roasted barley delivers the experience of a drying finish alongside a light nuttiness.

All three beers are is available now at the Nonsuch retail shop and online store.
