Beau’s Brewing Releases Local Organic Lagered Ale

VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s Brewing has announced the release of what they describe as “Canada’s most sustainable beer.”

Local Organic Lagered Ale (4% abv) is “the first beer in the country to be both certified organic and certified carbon neutral, [and] is also made with 100% Ontario hops and 100% Quebec malts, and brewed with green electricity.”

It’s further described as follows:

Local Organic is brewed with Cascade and Chinook hops that are grown on a handful of certified organic hop farms in Ontario. The certified organic barley malt is supplied by Malterie Frontenac in Thetford Mines, Quebec. It pours a hazy deep gold with a thick white foam, and offers up a silky mouthfeel, with malt flavours that are characteristic to Quebec’s Frontenac. The Cascade and Chinook hops deliver big and bright fruity flavours, for truly local taste.

Local Organic is available now at the Beau’s retail store and online shop, as well as LCBO locations in Ontario and select beer retailers in Quebec.
