ABBOTSFORD, BC – Field House Brewing has announced the first two releases in a new “single hop Kveik series exploring new ways ancient yeasts, traditional grains, and newly cultivated hops interplay to create something unique.”
Nordic Blonde Ale (5% abv):
This beer combines the lightly fruity Monroe hops with citrus-forward Voss Kveik yeast in an easy-drinking blonde ale made with our own farm grown wheat. Expect a crisp beer with light notes of sweet orange and a hint of red berries.
Nordic Hazy IPA (7.3% abv):
A Hazy IPA with the addition of spelt malt for extra body. Voss Kveik provides a hot and vigorous fermentation allowing the Enigma hops to express themselves in unique ways. Fruit forward and complex.
Both beers will be released tomorrow (Thursday March 4th), and can be pre-ordered now via the Field House online store.
