SPRUCE GROVE, AB – Alberta’s newest small brewery has announced that it is now open in Spruce Grove, a city 11 km west of Edmonton.
RavenWolf Brewing has been founded by Randal and Jan Gillett, a married couple who promise to offer “bold, smooth and finely crafted beers” based on Randal’s two decades of homebrewing experience.
The brewery and pub held its grand opening last Thursday April 8th, with a debut beer line-up that includes Riona’s Irish Red Ale (4.8% abv), Grove City Kolsch (5% abv), Smoked Oatmeal Stout (7.6% abv), Skol IPA (7% abv), plus a selection of wine, cider, and other beverages.
The accompanying food menu features various snacks and main courses, many with a Caribbean twist, including Jamaican patties, wings and ribs, chili, and jerk chicken.
RavenWolf Brewing is located at 45C South Avenue in Spruce Grove, and is open on Tuesday to Thursday from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. While currently closed for indoor service due to COVID-19 restrictions, the patio is open, and food and growlers of beer are available for take-out and curbside pick-up.
